SWEETIE PIE COOKIES
	2 Egg Yokes 1/2 Cup Sugar 1 Cup Unsalted Sweet Butter (softened) 1 Cup Sugar 2 Egg Whites 1 teaspoon Soda 1 teaspoon Cream of Tartar 1/2 teaspoon Ground Nutmeg 1/4 teaspoon Salt 1 teaspoon Vanilla 3 1/2 Cups Flour Beat Egg Yokes and 1/2 Cup Sugar until thick, set aside. Cream Butter, 1 Cup Sugar, Egg Whites and mix in Egg Yoke mixture. Add the remaining ingredients less flour. Add flour SLOWLY. Cover and refrigerate 1 hour. Roll out and cut into heart shapes. Place on a greased cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees F for 8-10 minutes. Decorate with red, white or pink frosting, cinnamon red hots, colored sprinkles and lots of little love notes. Sit down in front of a nice warm fire and enjoy with your sweetheart! These are recipes that have appeared in our news letter or on our web site.
