Pretzel Log Cabin



     Here's another addition to your wintry scene.

Here's what you'll need:

  • 10 Ounce Milk Carton, empty and rinsed out.
  • Brown Craft Paper or Paper Bag
  • Stick Pretzels
  • Oyster Crackers
  • Spoon Size Shredded Wheat
  • Tacky Glue or Hot Melt Glue
  • Acrylic Paint
Fold the top over on the milk carton and tape.

Wrap the milk carton in craft paper.

Glue pretzels around the outside like a log cabin.
Glue Oyster Crackers on the roof like shingles. Overlap them to look more real.
Glue four Spoon Size Shredded Wheats into a square for the chimney.
Paint the windows and door with black paint.
Paint the roof with a light coat of white paint to look like snow.

How about that? Instant log cabin all ready for your winter scene. You can make several of them into a small village.
