This is from Sister Susie.

You'll need:

  • A Gourd
  • Knife
  • Paint
The gourd should be dried before you begin this project.
Cut a small hole, about 1 inch in diameter, in the front of the gourd.
Get as much of the seeds and stuff out of the gourd as possible.
Cut a few small holes in the bottom of the gourd so water can drain out.
Now decorate the gourd by painting it with a good paint that will stand up to the outdoors. Let your imagination go wild and have fun.
Drill a small hole through the top and put a wire through it for hanging.
Here's a couple that Susie gave us.
