BEAN SOUP CASSEROLE

     It seems everybody has their own favorite recipe for bean soup. This is ours and we hope you like it as much as we do. It's been in the family for a long time and for good reason.

  • 1/2 Pound Pork Sausage
  • 1 Small Onion
  • 1 Clove Garlic
  • 1 1/2 Cups Ham, cooked and cubed
  • 2 Tablespoons Parsley
  • 1 Bay Leaf
  • 2 15 ounce Cans Navy Beans (undrained)
  • 1/4 Cup White Wine
  • Dash of Ground Cloves

Brown the Sausage and Onion, drain fat.
Add remainder of ingredients.
Pour into a casserole dish, cover and bake at 325 degrees F for 45 minutes.
Uncover for an additional 40 to 45 minutes.
Remove the Bay Leaf and serve.
